Switching your account to KVSB is easier than you think. To assist you with this process, we’ve compiled all the necessary forms into one convenient packet called a “switch kit”. Our switch kit is broken down into 4 easy-to-follow steps. You can view and print out all the necessary forms online, complete them and return them to the appropriate party for processing.


Step One: Open Your New Account

Complete our New Account Application Form and visit any Customer Service Representative at any of our locations. See bottom of page for everything we need to open your new account.

Step Two: Switch your Direct Deposit

Complete our Direct Deposit Request Form and send to your employer and anyone else that directly deposits funds into your former account. Your social security deposit can be changed by calling 1(800) 772-1213.

Step Three: Switch Your Automatic Payments

Complete the Automatic Withdrawal Transfer Form and send to any company that automatically charges your former account.

Step Four: Close Your Old Account

Make sure all outstanding checks and any debit card transactions have cleared your former account. Make sure you have successfully switched all your direct deposits and automatic withdrawals to your new account at Kaw Valley State Bank. Complete the Account Closing Request Form and send to your previous financial institution.
