This role supports loan officers in processing, closing, and post closing consumer, agricultural, commercial, and residential loans.

Overview-
We are seeking a detail-oriented, friendly Bookkeeper to join our back-office operations team. This position is responsible for timely and accurately balancing and posting item processing transactions, complete day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service skills.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Understand and view system reports
- Answer general deposit, debit and credit cards and online banking related questions for customers
- Assist other bookkeeping staff by reviewing their maintenance for accuracy
- Stay proactive in the learning process, by attending bookkeeping meetings as well as seminars and online training
- Create and follow-up on support cases if an issue, error message, or questions arise
- Manage electronic copies of Stop Payments, WSUD’s and Internal Stops
- Follow proper security procedures
- Complete any and all projects assigned in a timely manner
- Ensure Branch Capture Machine is clean and in working order and cleaning maintenance is being performed daily, and complete semi-annual review of all branch capture machines
- Replace exchange rollers as they wear down, maintain part supply for all Branch Capture Machines
- Run Transactions through our Branch Capture Software throughout the day, or as needed
- Corrective balance transactions and return any transactions that have missing information or if they don’t balance back to the person that ran/wrote them as needed
Successful candidates will possess the following skillset:
- Strong understanding of journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
This position would be a full-time hourly position. All full- time employees are eligible for certain benefits, including:

Standard office hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, with rotating Saturday shifts 8am-11:30am.
