Loan Support / Loan Processor

Kaw Valley State Bank & Trust’s mission is to provide the most efficient and professional banking services, while delivering courteous and prompt customer service. To enhance these services, Kaw Valley State Bank & Trust is seeking a detail oriented individual to join the loan team. This role supports loan officers in processing, closing, and post closing consumer, agricultural, commercial, and residential loans.

Duties will include

  • Set up and maintain complete and accurate loan application files
  • Process paperwork including analysis of asset, income, and credit documents to ensure they meet bank guidelines
  • Process third party documentation including appraisals, title insurance, flood and hazard insurance, and real estate taxes to ensure compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines
  • Typing consumer, ag, and commercial loans
  • Providing assistance to customers and staff with loan payments and general loan questions

  • Ability to multi task and prioritize multiple files to meet crucial deadlines
  • Dedication to customer confidentiality and discretion within the bank and in public

  • Commitment to continuous learning staying abreast of bank policy and regulatory updates
  • Desire to give back to the community through civic and volunteer service
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a professional business setting
  • Prior bank and lending experience is encouraged

This position would be a full-time hourly position, wage will be commensurate with experience. All full- time employees are eligible for certain benefits, including:

Standard office hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, with rotating Saturday customer support coverage 8am-11:30am.
